Dariusz Olszewski

For over 30 years Dariusz has been involved in M&A transactions, fund raising and advising foreign investors entering Poland as well as advising Polish and foreign investors on projects in other CEE and CIS countries. His experience includes the Energy, Oil & Gas, Telecomm, Agri-food, Chemical, Defence, Insurance and Financial sectors. He has participated in many projects of a ground-breaking nature, for example fund raising for the full refurbishment of a power plant based on a project finance structure and an international bond issue. He advised foreign investors on their acquisitions and investment projects in Poland, including in the Energy sector, the Defense sector, the Machinery industry, Transport, Construction and Assembly services. He has advised on capital transactions between private entities and with the participation of entities controlled by the public sector and government agencies, both in Poland and in other CEE countries.

Before joining TDI, he worked in Denmark and Finland, incl. in the banking sector as an analyst, later a researcher at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw and the deputy head of the financial analysis team at Elektrim SA. Author of works in the field of corporate finance and financial risk as well as analytical reports on the Energy sector and Oil & Gas sector.

One of the founders of TDI in 1991, from the beginning in its Management Board, from 1998 as President of the Management Board.
